Why We Started Curbwise

Curbwise was founded by Tony and his dog Milo during their daily walks through Travis Heights.

On those walks, we started noticing small patterns—trash cans sitting out all week, bins not making it to the curb, neighbors traveling, Airbnb homes missing pickups, people who just needed a little help.

Not emergencies. Just small signals that quietly say, “This house needs a hand.”

I’m a longtime Austin designer. I’ve spent years building brands for big companies. But what I wanted to build here was something smaller and more honest.

A simple service that shows up when it’s needed.

We helped one neighbor. Then another.

And Curbwise began.

Curbwise is built on a simple code:

• Show up every week

• Take care of the details

• Treat every home like our own

• Be someone neighbors can trust

Nothing fancy. Just reliable.

As we grow, we plan to create meaningful work for veterans and people with disabilities—people who deserve steady jobs and dignity in their day-to-day lives.

Curbwise isn’t for everyone. It’s for the neighbors who want a little help, done right.

From Travis Heights.
With Milo supervising.

It’s just Tony and Milo walking the neighborhood and helping where we can.

If you live in Travis Heights and like the idea of neighbors helping neighbors, you’re welcome to join the route.

Curbwise also supports the Desert Signal Dog Fund, which helps dogs with medical care and placement into safe, permanent homes.
